I Have a great doctor there and they don't discriminate against people of Other Color's they are a great family doctors office.

They all treated me like I had committed some crime. All along Dr. Maggoire has been treating me for major depression and anxiety for several years, among all the other medical conditions I have.

But a few days ago I had my worse experience there. My son took me there because I was having a very bad anxiety attack, and the lady told me that Dr. Maggoire has no openings to see me. I present condition feeling really bad with what was happening to me, all of a sudden I said to her "I need to see the dam doctor" I have never been inpolite to them in all my days, but that day I was not myself considering my present situation. I immediately made apologies for my comment, but that was not good enough for them. They threaten to call the police, and told me to leave the office. Not one person there ask me what was the problem, and why was I having such an attack of anxiety, nor did anyone suggest I need to go to the emergency room for help.

I switched here from my previous doctor to Lenoir Family Medicine over a year ago. First of all, my doctor is supposed to be Dr. Alm and she is never, and I mean NEVER available. I have seen her maybe once or twice since I started going here. Over the past few months, I have had multiple bad experiences with this facility but the ones from the past couple days have topped it all. I made an appointment to be seen yesterday by Dr. Alm and, of course, she was not available so I was scheduled to see Dr. Bowen. On the way to my appointment, I called the facility and told them I would be running a few minutes late and they assured me that I could still be seen if I showed up by two. I showed up literally 2 minutes after two and they refused me at the desk and said they were "too busy" to fit me in when I was the only person there. Literally. The only person there. On top of that, the receptionist was VERY rude to me. So I left and made another appointment and was scheduled to be seen by Dr. Maggiore at 10:30. We show up at 10:30 and I was not seen until almost 12, again with barely any other patients there. The receptionist kept interrupting me while I was giving her my information and was again very rude to me. When I was finally able to speak to the doctor, he only spoke with me for about 3 or 4 minutes and barely even examined me, then sent me on my way with no diagnosis and 2 prescriptions that I didn't even need. It is well known that this office is also very racially discriminant and will not accept patients unless they are white. The only person that was even polite to me was the nurse that took my vitals upon entering the exam room. Will not be returning.

I have been going there for over 20 years, and have been treated for multiple different illnesses.

I have a great doctor there and the staff is wonderful as well she went out of her way to help me in a ruff an could be tragic time....my doctor takes time to listen to me an an gives me the best care possible never have had any complaints and have had this doctor since 2002

Hi, my wife and I moved to the area a few years ago we do not go to the doctors but probably once twice a year .I called to see if my wife could see a doctor and she said that you have to be screened with a application and wait for the doctor to see if they want to take you as a patient . I was really surprised when they did that it was like I was in a movie or something . So I asked her if the doctor did accept my wife as a patient t would they be able to see her ,she then said i cant guarantee that either because they are always filling up with there schedule . Hmm i know that sometimes doctors have to many patients but to go about that in that way is almost saying that they are screening there patients

About a week later I receive a letter from them saying they will not accept me there any longer because of my inappropriate actions. What a shame that they never considered what my situation was at the time.
