We were loading a U-Haul truck today for some customers down the street they have a home in Florida and they recommended us to stop here and have lunch we are so happy we did this place is amazing if you are from out of town definitely stop in and eat here we work for a moving company in Asheville North Carolina and we wish we lived closer so we could stop here more often everybody please support local

My wife and I have eaten at some of the best restaurants, but never had calzone as good as we had here in Buffalo Cove. And some of the best homemade pies you'll ever taste. Well worth the beautiful drive.
Was staying at a nearby resort cabin with my boyfriend and we randomly Googled for a place to eat nearby because we didn't want to drive all the way to Boone or Blowing Rock. To our surprise we couldn't believe how great this place is! We ordered the garlic knots and split a pizza and the marinara was so delicious, I honestly could of just eaten that as my meal! Great local place for food and to get any other goodies you may need. The owner was nice and very hospitable!
Having lived in Connecticut for eleven years afforded me an opportunity to delve into some very delicious pizza, and Buffalo Mercantile's pies rate up there with Pepe's and Sally's (look them up). Yet neither of those can compete with the general atmosphere in Buffalo Cove which is rural and peaceful. Don't be in a hurry as time is NOT of the essence when you get there, so set your worries aside, grab a rocking chair on the front porch, then take a deep breath and give thanks that rural treasures like this even exist.
